The contents of this map all came from the internet from numerous sources.
The trail data came from several sources and has been heavily edited and manipulated in an effort to make the tracks data more generic and more accurate.
Track points in some cases have been reversed to track in the proper direction. Track points were brought back onto the road where GPS errors occured and went off-trail. Elevations were also corrected based on the most up-to-date USGS topo maps. Tracks lengths are more accurate due to the reduction of double tracks and redundant track points.
As this data all comes from the internet, we CANNOT guarentee that these roads are still open or passible. The same goes for the repeater data. We have no way of guaranteeing this data. To the best of our knowledge, this data was accurate at the time of it's collection. This data is only provided as "entertainment' and in a "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK" manner.
Enjoy the map, explore it, click on everything to see what it does. The grid is an experiment based on requests from the Search and Rescue guys.
We welcome any comments or suggestions to make this map as accurate as possible. We also welcome ideas for any additions to the map in general.
